VEHICLE DROP OFF
GUIDELINES
We’ve had a few problems in 2006 with
vehicles being dropped off and Kathy and I thought it would be a good idea to
go over the guidelines. Since our parking space is limited and we do
approximately 800-1,000 repairs a year, we need to have things work smoothly,
which will benefit each of you as well as us.
1. Arrangements
need to be made with us PRIOR to any vehicle being brought, by person or a
towing company. If the vehicle needs to be towed, you have three choices; you
can come over before it’s brought and do your paperwork, you can follow the tow
truck to the shop, or you can pick up an envelope prior to towing, take it home
and fill it out, then give it to the tow truck operator, explaining where the
keys and envelope are to be put.
2. Any
vehicle that is to be repaired must have a signed start ticket or a signed drop
off envelope at the time the vehicle is brought or before. Drop off envelopes
are located just to the left of the small blue door. Open the lid and lower it
and it becomes a writing table. Take an envelope and fill it out as fully as
possible, going into as much detail about your vehicles’ symptoms. Make sure
you sign at the bottom.
3. Keys need to be placed in the drop box slot or
given to us. We shouldn’t have to search your vehicle for where the keys are
hidden. This is not safe for your vehicle and can be time consuming to us. If
we are not open, they should be put in the drop off envelope and put into the
mailbox slot of the small blue door.
4. We have 7 designated parking spaces in the
lot. When prior arrangements have been made we will always have a space
available for you. Please park ONLY in our parking area. In consideration to our neighbors, please do not park
across the street.
Thank You for your business.
